Each of our fine leather goods is imbued with the golden ratio. That's why we decided to name our company Phi 1.618.

In our creative process, we seek to establish a deep connection between our models, nature and the world of art and architecture. We believe that our creations are not simply accessories, but pieces with their own aesthetic and identity. They are created in harmony with the proportion that surrounds us in nature. That's why each of our creations bears a symbolic name that tells its own story.

The name of our pleated bag Phiori is a fusion of our house name, Phi, in reference to the golden ratio, and the origami technique used to make it. Beyond that, it's also the word Fiori, Italian for flowers, that appeals to us, as the golden ratio is found in flowers such as the rose, the aster, the daisy and the sunflower.

The golden ratio is omnipresent in nature. This divine proportion can be found in the Nautilus shell, in the form of a logarithmic spiral. Phi 1.618 was inspired by this shell to create the Philia bag. Philia is the Greek word for the state, feeling or emotion of friendship. That's how we designed it: a fine leather goods bag perfect for accompanying you everywhere. It's your best friend.

Our belt Philanthropy buckle-less, reversible belt bears this name, which stands for love of humanity, a benevolent attitude. That's what designer Juliette Angeletti wanted to convey with this creation, which closes with two hands linked in a "loop" in the shape of a capital Greek Phi.
